Ready to give anything a go!

Hi Everyone!

I just came across a relatively new product for advanced wellbeing called LifeWave Patches, and my partner and I have decided to give them a go to help us lose weight – hence the relatively obscure blog title that is related more to the product rather than surfing (sorry if you came here looking for hints about surfing – however… there is another patch that is aimed at athletes to improve their energy so if you are interested in that, or have used it [it is waterproof I believe] please comment or subscribe!) Phew, that was a long meandering thought! So where was I…

That’s right, just 2 days ago we were introduced to this new product – it’s pretty new-ish to Australia, been around for about 4 years in the States) and we thought, why not? It is not a dietry supplement, or a meal replacement, it has something to do with accupressure points, but I’ll know more about the HOW once I get the patches and then I’ll be able to tell you more.

I’ve only been able to find good things on the web so far, so I am curious to see how it works for us.

Before the patches arrive, I thought I would start documenting our current habits so that we can accurately track our progress. I just re-started pilates this week and my instructor took my measurements to track my progress with pilates, so I also have her as an independant cross-reference check.

I think I will subscribe to Dr. Oz’s main measurement, so I will put in waist measurements and weight measurements.

So, our current regime is

  • we try to walk at least 30mins a day
  • we try to eat well – breakfast is muesli and banana and yoghurt, dinner is generally vege soup (I’m a vegetarian but my partner is not) and some protein dish at lunch (chicken, beans – that’s what I’m having right now!)
  • we love to have a leisurely brunch once a week at our favourite haunts in North Melbourne
  • and I take 2 studio pilates classes a week

I guess that we can do more, but we also have (like you and everyone else) a busy life managing our businesses and often the old habits kick back in.

I guess we are ready to give anything a go!

Stay tuned for more updates and to follow our journey, just subscribe via RSS or email : )

Cheers,

Tracy
